Solar Power for Purchase by Community Members

In April of 2023, a Haitian expert was hired to install our solar power project. The solar panels were placed on the roof of our building and currently power our water plant and training center, which are big steps toward the realization of our goals overall.

The results, specifically, are twofold:

1). We are no longer reliant on diesel generators to power our water project, and

2). Clean, safe drinking water is available to the people of Les Cayes at an affordable price in both large jug and small bottle form.

In addition, the training building is now powered by solar energy for our future work on computer skill building. 

We also hope to provide local community members the opportunity to come and charge their electric powered devices with our solar generated power in the near future, for a small fee.

The result will be a win-win, in that we will be supporting the community with an essential need as well as generating some income for our community led businesses as well.
